Amanda Goldstein, M.D. (née Wachtel)
Dr. Goldstein is a board-certified psychiatrist. She trained at the University of Chicago's Adult Psychiatry Residency Program, where she served as Chief Resident in her final year. She completed an additional year of training at UCLA's Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior. She received her medical degree from the University at Buffalo, School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.
Dr. Goldstein is committed to providing exceptional care, and helping her patients achieve optimal health and functioning. She uses a whole-body approach to uncover root problems, and then develops a treatment plan drawing on a broad set of tools. She believes the best care is achieved by working collaboratively with her patients and their other providers. Dr. Goldstein is trained in psychotherapy and psychopharmacology, as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia.
Dr. Goldstein is a recipient of the 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024 Super Doctors Southern California Rising Star.
